First Day of Kindergarten!

The big day finally arrived! Emma is very excited to have her friends Liam (above) and Grace (not pictured) in her class. She has a great teacher and is having a blast at school! Her favorite thing so far is the chocolate milk...

Paper Mache

Making paper massage bowls (as she calls it) in the backyard was a big hit for our little artist.

Cinderella

The girls had a great time hanging out with Cinderella at a friend's birthday party in August. Emma wasn't sure how she could have come to MT all the way from Disney World, but then she remembered that Cinderella had a coach to ride in.

Sweet Pea

Emma enjoyed the Sweet Pea Parade with her sister and her cousins Sophie and Samantha. She just finished running the 1K children's run, so she was pretty tired. Of course she can always find the energy to scramble for candy on the street!

Dancing at the Sweet Pea Festival is a tradition in our family. Emma got her blue grass groove on for us this year!

Smokey the Bear

We went to Squaw Creek in July to learn about forest fire safety. Emma got to meet several firefighters and smoke jumpers. Smokey the Bear was the biggest hit though!

Wagon Ride

Cousin Alden came to visit in July. Emma had a good time showing him around the yard in the wagon. We took him (and his parents) swimming, to the Museum of the Rockies, and to Yellowstone National Park while they were here.
